Teacher of Design & Technology – Ashford, Kent

Our client school in Ashford, Kent is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Design & Technology to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Design & Technology curriculum and be able to deliver engaging lessons that foster creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Design & Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Contribute to the development of the Design & Technology curriculum and resources.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree in Design & Technology or a related field.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Design & Technology curriculum.
• Previous experience teaching Design & Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable but not essential for NQTs.
• Salary: MPS/UPS (England & Wales)

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent position.
