Our client, a mixed 11-18 secondary in Southend on Sea, is seeking a teacher of History to join them on a permanent, full time contract from September 2024.

The role would suit either an NQT at the start of their teaching journey, or a hungry experienced practitioner seeking a new challenge. The teaching of English will be predominantly at Key Stages 3 & 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching. Candidates must have experience of teaching world History – a particularly important consideration for overseas candidates.

The school is a thriving mixed secondary at the heart of the local community. It is essential you are committed to driving improvement whilst engaging students of all levels of ability. Strong classroom management skills are a must.
