Are you a passionate and articulate Media Studies teacher with the knowledge and creativity to have a positive impact on your department? 

We are currently assisting a mixed secondary near Slough as they look to appoint a Teacher of Media Studies to join them from January. Applications are invited from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.  The position is available on a full-time, permanent basis. The ability to offer a second subject (particularly English or Drama) would be advantageous.

This mixed 11-18 secondary is based near the Berkshire town of Slough, and enjoys excellent transport links into London as well as the neighbouring counties of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. The school has a strong local reputation and is in the process of raising standards in all departments. Ofsted grade many elements of school life as ‘good’.  Its Senior Leadership Team are well established with a progressive approach.

It is hoped that the successful candidate will hit the ground running. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to relate to young people are essential, as is a thorough knowledge of the curriculum through Key Stages 3 & 4..
