Hourglass Education are currently assisting an 11-18 secondary in Luton as they look to recruit an Art Head of Department on a permanent contract from January 2024.

The school has a strong and effective Senior Leadership Team and the teaching and learning environment is a welcoming one where positive relationships are nurtured. The school enjoys a strong and growing reputation in the local area.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering strong, consistent results and whilst previous leadership experience would be advantageous, it is by no means essential. The post would suit an ambitious teacher who is looking to lead a department.

Applications are encouraged from qualified teachers holding QTS, QTLS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.  The vacant position would be suitable for teachers with relevant experience.
